Renewing the Urban Forest
Planting trees to build and revitalize Nashville’s tree canopy is fundamental to our mission. We plant at schools, parks and in neighborhoods. Nashville Tree Foundation has planted thousands of trees throughout Davidson County and gives away hundreds of free trees at events every year.
Key Support from the Division of Forestry
The Nashville Tree Foundation, with support from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Division of Forestry, completed community tree planting projects which added over 250 trees at 20 schools in 2019-20 and another 300 trees in 2020-21. Thank you for providing this generous support!
