Free Trees for You

NTF distributes thousands of container trees yearly, at no cost to recipients. You can get your own free trees at one of our many tree adoption events throughout the year or during our annual fall celebration of all things trees, Nashville Tree Fest. The addition of a new tree to your home will help lower your energy bills, beautify your neighborhood, and clean the city air and water. Help grow our urban forest!

Tornado Relief Giveaway in Madison

Made possible by partnership with Kroger and Arbor Day Foundation, we’re giving away 375 free, 1-gallon trees to Madison residents. We’re restoring the lost tree coverage one tree at a time.

Mark your calendars and join us at Amqui Station to bring home your very own free tree on Tuesday, April 30th from 5pm-7pm. Our team of arborists and volunteers will be on-site to provide guidance on tree care and answer any questions.

Container trees range from 1 gallon to 5 gallon size along with bare-root seedlings from our partners at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.

Container trees range from 1 gallon to 3 gallons, and we offer a variety of species at each event.
